Architecture + Urbanism Unit
Headed by Richard Rogers, the Mayor of London’s chief adviser on architecture and urbanism, the 9-person unit was established to champion high quality architecture and urban design, aiming to improve London’s public realm. I worked on projects as diverse as the Thames Gateway, the Mayor’s 100 Public Spaces, Open London, and City East, a conceptual urban design framework for the western half of the Thames Gateway. The A+UU is now part of Design for London.
